AndBeyond's £80k+ private jet trips ready for take-off

The company is the latest to offer private jet arrangements for clients. Aman has launched a range of private jet trip options, as has Four Seasons - working with TCS World Travel - while others such as Abercrombie & Kent also now offer private jet itineraries.

AndBeyond’s Private Jet Expeditions will kick off next year, with departures in May, June, September and October.

Chief executive Joss Kent said: “To coincide with our milestone 25th birthday, we have spent over a year crafting these journeys of a lifetime, highlighting all the African destinations where andBeyond operates."

Africa and Beyond is the most comprehensive itinerary, offering a 19-day adventure through East and Southern Africa (for a maximum of 12 guests) for £80,960 per person. With the full tour commissionable, agents have a good opportunity to earn when selling the trips.

A shorter tour of 15 days, the Southern Africa and Beyond itinerary, will include South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia, with departures in May and June 2017 for a maximum of six guests, from £52,148 per person.

Private jets such as the Embraer 145 and Pilatus PC12, or similar, will be used for the longer, international legs of each expedition and a combination of turbo-prop fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters will be used to access more remote bush destinations.

Guests on the trips will be whisked through airport queues with VIP assistance and use predominantly private terminals, customs and baggage claim facilities.

International flights to join the trip are not included but the packages do include all accommodation, safaris, national park fees, on-ground arrangements and food and drink for the duration.

Guests will mainly stay at andBeyond properties throughout the tours, but third-party properties such as Giraffe Manor in Kenya; Virunga Lodge in Rwanda; and One&Only Cape Town in South Africa will also feature.

The expeditions will also provide the opportunity to engage with historians, guides and wildlife and conservation experts; andBeyond has also fully offset the carbon footprint for the air travel during the expeditions.

In addition to the set itineraries, andBeyond will also be able to tailor-make individual private jet expeditions.
