The chief executive of one of the world’s most well-known luxury hotel brands is to speak on the final day of TTG Luxury’s upcoming conference.
Hong Kong-based James Riley is group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental, which includes 32 hotels and seven residences in 23 countries and territories around he globe and has more than 50 years of heritage as a luxury hotel brand.
In conversation with April Hutchinson, editor of TTG Luxury, Riley will discuss the current and future prospects for luxury travel and stress the importance of not losing sight of the sustainability agenda in travel.
Riley has been a director of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group International since 2005 and joined the board as group chief executive in 2016 having previously held a number of senior executive positions in the Jardine Matheson group, of which Mandarin is part of.
Riley completes a line-up of 17 speakers at the event, which has now also confirmed Rob McCallum, co-founder of EYOS Expeditions, whose activities this year including managing a dive to the
Mariana Trench in the western Pacific, and the deepest oceanic trench on Earth.
