Maxx Royal Bodrum will mark the luxury hotel brand’s third property in Turkey when it opens its doors this May.
Maxx Royal Bodrum will open in time for the summer season and mark the brand’s third property in Turkey after Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort and Maxx Royal Kemer Resort in Antalya.
Mykonos vibes have also been imported to the resort, with the addition of Scorpios, the famous beach club that solidified the Greek island’s party status following its launch back in 2014.
As the brand’s first ever 24-hour offering, Scorpios Beach Club will feature the trademark beach bar and restaurant, as well as 12 pool suites and a Ritual Space dedicated to wellbeing, and all positioned on a private island.
Located on a private peninsula in Golturkbuku, the coastal resort offers 282 villas and suites set against an enriching backdrop of landscaped gardens and pine forest.
Guests will have access to seven restaurants during their stay, all of which will be overseen by chefs Greejanand Motee and Naoki Katorincluding. Traditional Greek dishes of seafood and vegetables will be on offer in the rustic taverna of Manos, while Russian and French fusion cuisine will be served at Caviar Kaspia.
For guests with plant-based preferences or dietary requirements, the Maxx Wellbeing Restaurant offers an extensive range of gluten-free and vegan meals. Meanwhile, Oro by Alfredo Russo will be home to the resort’s Italian food, and TwentyFour will provide a range of Turkish specialities for those wanting more local flavours. An ice cream parlour and chocolatier are also on-site sweets and desserts.
For health and wellbeing, the spacious Maxx WellBeing Spa has been created, with 20 rooms where guests will be able to choose from a range of holistic and science-based treatments. Hydro and thermal experiences, a Technogym fitness studio, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and group classes offering everything from anti-gravity yoga to sound healing, are also available.
Maxx Royal Bodrum will open on 17 May, 2024. Rates start from €875/£750 based on two people sharing, including breakfast and complimentary access to the Maxxi Land Kid’s Club for children aged 3-12 years old.
