The first Nobu restaurant on Turkey’s coast has opened in Bodrum.
The venture is situated in the Bodrum Loft hotel and follows the opening last summer of Nobu Istanbul within the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
Bodrum Loft overlooks Demirbuku Bay and is styled as a private Aegean village with “luxurious yet minimalistic rooms, suites and villas”. The hotel also includes Italian and Aegean restaurants.
Nobu also plans to open its fifth Spanish hotel and restaurant with an office conversion in Madrid.
Positioned in the Cortes District, Nobu Hotel Madrid will see the commercial building transformed to offer a Nobu restaurant on three levels with bar, plus a rooftop bar and lounge with views over the skyline.
Trevor Horwell, Nobu Hospitality chief executive, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to finally launch in the magnificent city of Madrid. A bustling mecca of art, culture, and cuisine, the Spanish capital is an important destination for us.
“This will be our fifth hotel in Spain, and we look forward to further expanding our Spanish footprint to create a truly memorable hospitality experience for local residents as well as our international Nobu guests.”
In addition, the Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch will re-open its doors on 14 June with a new sixth floor featuring a Nobu Shoreditch Penthouse and two new skyline bedrooms.
