Nobu Hospitality has opened the doors to its sixth Spanish hotel with the 25-key Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Sevilla.
Located in the heart of the Andalusian capital in the Plaza de San Francisco, the brand’s latest opening occupies two early 20th-century residential buildings.
Nobu Hotel Sevilla features a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and dining area, offering views of Seville Cathedral and its Giralda bell tower. The Nobu restaurant is positioned so guests can admire a Roman wall built by Julius Caesar, which was discovered during the renovation. Other facilities include a Nobu Bar, a solarium on the terrace and a 24-hour gym.
A spokesperson said: “The hotel’s design pays homage to Nobu’s Japanese roots, whilst honouring Sevillian style. Elements of the original buildings have been preserved and the hotel designed around them, from the central glass courtyard to the staircase adorned with authentic tiles from the early 20th century.”
The property offers five room types, ranging from Deluxe to the Nobu Suite, all inspired by the Far East with handcrafted wooden furniture, rain showers and Eight & Bob amenities.
Operated by the Mercer Hotels chain, the property is owned by Millenium Hospitality Real Estate SOCIMI. Nobu Hospitality has confirmed plans for two other Spanish projects, with openings slated for San Sebastian later in 2023 and Madrid in 2024.
