The ski specialist is marking its landmark year in its annual Season Preview, which outlines trends, destinations and properties making an impact.
The Witney-based luxury winter travel agency was founded by Rupert Longsdon in 1998, operating two chalets, and today it represents more than 1,000 luxury ski properties across the Alps.
The Oxford Ski Company’s progress over the years is tracked in the new Season Preview publication, alongside a look at the season ahead, suggested properties and inspiration for skiing further afield.
It also focuses on sustainability issues, promoting properties taking sustainable actions and highlighting the innovative work done by resorts to enable environmentally responsible skiing.
Managing director Mark Gibbins said Season Preview was a “labour of love” for the team, adding: “It pieces together the expertise and knowledge of our wonderful team and contains everything you could want to know ahead of your ski holiday: what to wear, where to eat, what’s new to a resort, the special events running throughout the season – to name just a few topics.”
Longsdon said: “It feels as if these 25 years have passed by in a flash. I am immensely proud of the work Oxford Ski Company has done in all this time. What started as a small team has blossomed into a company of over 30 experts, all of whom live and breathe skiing.”
