Bless Collection Hotels and TRS Hotels have been recognised by a LGBTQ+ tourism association for training their employees to create travel experiences tailored to the expectations of LGBTQ+ travellers.
Palladium Hotel Group’s luxury brands Bless Collection Hotels and TRS Hotels are two of the first brands in the world to receive the Queer Destinations Committed Distinction.
The title is recognised by the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA), and has been given to Bless Hotel Madrid, Bless Hotel Ibiza and TRS Ibiza Hotel in Spain. It’s also been bestowed on TRS Yucatan Hotel and TRS Coral Hotel in Mexico, and TRS Turquesa Hotel and TRS Cap Cana Waterfront & Marina Hotel in the Dominican Republic.
The Queer Destinations Committed seal of approval is described as “acknowledging a commitment to preparation and training by companies and destinations in the tourism sector. It serves as a seal of quality for those seeking a unique experience free of discrimination.”
Palladium Hotel Group operates an educational programme called Hospitality Meets Diversity, which teaches employees about the LGBTQ+ community, their consumption habits and how to create a unique travel experience tailored to their expectations.
Sergio Zertuche, chief sales and marketing officer at Palladium Hotel Group, said: "At Palladium Hotel Group, we strive to offer a unique and unforgettable experience, taking care of the details that are important for each of our guests, and we utilise all of the resources at our disposal to achieve this. This alliance is another step forward in our commitment to both the travellers who visit us and our internal and external collaborators.”
