Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor is due to reopen on 1 October following a major renovation.
The hotel in Siem Reap dates back to 1932 and had been closed since April for the refurbishment of the 119 rooms and suites, as well as the revamping of its public spaces including its facade, lobby, Elephant Bar and Cafe d’Angkor.
Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor is set within 15 acres of gardens and has one of Cambodia’s most famous pools. The hotel has maintained many of its original features including a timber elevator.
The property will also launch a range of Raffles Curated Journeys for guests when it reopens – these five experiences include Vespa tours around Angkor Wat, sunrise picnics and art tours in Siem Reap.
Helicopter tours over the temples of Angkor Wat are also available from the property’s own helipad.
Another new development sees the introduction of a children’s club, the Sugar Palm Club, offering activities, sports and tours for younger guests.
The reopening is the second grand reveal for the brand in as many months, following the return of Raffles Singapore in August following a huge renovation.
