Rocco Forte Hotels is to manage a remodelled resort at Porto Cervo in Sardinia, with interiors by renowned designer Patricia Urquiola.
Set to open next year on Liscia di Vacca beach in the popular high-end destination of Costa Smeralda, the hotel will feature 64 rooms and suites.
Guests will also be able to make use of a state-of-the-art spa and three restaurants as well as a panoramic rooftop bar and meeting and event space.
Formerly known as Hotel Le Palme, the property is being redeveloped in partnership with hotel asset management and advisory firm Eidos Hotel Capital Partners acting on behalf of Sixth Street, which acquired the property in January 2022.
Patrizia Pozzi and Efisio Onali have designed the resort landscape and architectural concept, while Patricia Urquiola will handle the interior design.
The use of natural materials and local craftsmanship will be incorporated alongside sustainability principles.
Rocco Forte Hotels has a total of 14 resorts. The Sardinia opening will complement its other Italian properties in Rome, Florence, Sicily and Puglia as well as The Carlton Milano and Rocco Forte House, set to open in Milan in 2024.
