Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic has reopened as the first luxury all-inclusive resort for Marriott International and the Luxury Collection, following a four-month renovation in the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona.
The hurricane hit in September 2022 just as the resort joined the All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, as its 30th property.
Sanctuary Cap Cana has now undergone a four-month renovation, introducing a new restaurant, beach bar, nightclub and library. It offers five restaurants, a coffee shop, a deli and eight bars, alongside six pools and the Sanctuary Spa.
Activities can be reserved through The Luxury Collection Concierge service, including watersports, outdoor activities, shopping and dinner reservations.
The property is located 15 minutes away from Punta Cana International Airport and near to the Punta Espada Golf Club. It offers 324 suites, including oceanfront villas and private island suites with terraces and private pools overlooking the sea. The two-bedroom Castle Island Suite offers 5,500 square metres of space across two levels, including a living room, dining room and three indoor plunge pools.
