Sea Containers London has launched a hotel subscription service aimed at guests who are regularly travelling to the capital.
The South Bank hotel’s new Commuter Club subscription service will include a trunk for guests to store their belongings until their next visit; access to the hotel’s gym, spa and workspaces; Wifi; and food and beverage discounts.
There are three tiers, starting at £1,550 a month for The Part Timer, which includes 60 stays a year. The Regular Traveller costs £2,300 a month, and includes 90 stays a year. The third tier, The Committed Commuter, offers 120 stays each year, eight complimentary tickets to the hotel’s private Curzon Cinema, and costs £2,700 a month.
Commuter Club members can name up to three family and friends who will also be able to use the room nights within their subscription. Members’ pets can stay for free, with a bed, bowls and treats provided.
Subscribers can also choose to use 10% of their room nights in the hotel’s sister hotels, Pulitzer Amsterdam, One Hundred Shoreditch and Riggs & Lyle in Washington DC.
Sea Containers London’s general manager, PJ Kenny said: “We have seen an increase in our regular guests, who stay multiple nights throughout the month, and with the rise of the digital nomad well underway we wanted to create a monthly membership programme which would offer a flexible and accommodating package for those who aren’t based in London but have to regularly travel to the city for work or other commitments.”
