Seabourn is to hold three “immersive” events to allow agents to learn more about the cruise line’s new purpose-built expedition ships.
The Extraordinary Expeditions Rendezvous events will be held in small cinemas and screening rooms in Glasgow, Altrincham and central London at the end of March.
Agents will learn about Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, as well as the line’s programme of expedition voyages operating from 2023 and 2025, including trips to the Arctic, Greenland, Iceland, Amazon and Antarctica.
There will also be details about Seabourn Pursuit’s voyages to the South Pacific and the Kimberley region of northern Australia in 2024.
The agent events will be hosted by Robin West, Seabourn’s vice president and general manager of expeditions, alongside members of the UK-based business development team.
Wendy Lahmich, Seabourn’s director of sales UK and Europe, said: “We are calling these our Rendezvous events since it’s our chance to meet and share our news, immersive video and sales tools with our current and new-to-cruise agents - who will learn more about Seabourn and enjoy a few surprises.
“The last time we held a programme of similar events was in 2019, when we received an incredible response from agent partners. We encourage travel advisors to book their place at their selected event as soon as possible.”
The Extraordinary Expeditions Rendezvous events will take place at Everyman Glasgow on 28 March, Everyman Altrincham on 30 March and London’s Soho Hotel on 31 March. All three events will start at 11.30am.
