SeaDream Innovation will be the first new ship since the company started in 2001.
The line has also announced that the 110-suite SeaDream Innovation will start its inaugural voyage from London on September 18, 2021.
Bookings for the 2021 inaugural season can now be made by past SeaDream guests, with reservations for new guests opening from April 17.
The line said Innovation would be a “revolutionary yacht” that will introduce the concept of “global yachting”, sailing to all seven continents in its first year, visiting more than 200 ports in 49 countries.
Destinations will include Svalbard, the Northwest Passage, Antarctica, the Norwegian fjords, Japan, New Zealand, Fiji and the Great Barrier Reef.
“This project has been a dream of mine for many years,” said Atle Brynestad, owner, chairman and chief executive of SeaDream.
“It has been a true labour of love to meticulously design every aspect of this yacht, from the interiors and facilities to the itineraries.”
The 15,600 gross tons yacht will be built by Damen Shipyards and facilities include three marinas and outdoor dining.
Prior to SeaDream, Norwegian entrepreneur Brynestad was also the founder of Seabourn Cruise Line.
