London-based Simplexity Travel Management has opened a second office, with its new leisure-focused base in Chester becoming the first of several planned satellite sites.
Simplexity already caters to corporate and leisure clients from its Mayfair headquarters, where a team of 16 are based. Its first regional office is based in a Grade II listed building in Chester, and will focus on leisure travel, with face-to-face meetings available by appointment. Two new team members have already joined, with recruitment under way for a third.
The Chester site will also act as a hub for Simplexity’s homeworkers and independent contractors, who run their own businesses and are protected by the specialist’s Atol, Abta and Iata licences.
Head of business development Mark Smith said the new office will allow Simplexity to cater to the needs of its growing customer base in the area, including those in neighbouring Liverpool and Manchester. He added: “Post-pandemic we had to maximise revenue streams and also explore different channels, both in terms of procedures and our client base. Known as a ‘golden triangle’ in terms of leisure customers looking to book luxury travel, Chester was an excellent starting point for our expansion.”
Smith said the business has “a number of exciting plans” that will be announced in 2024, adding: “This will be the first of a number of planned satellite offices, not only in the UK but in key international territories such as the US and the UAE.”
