The new Six Senses La Sagesse offers 56 suites, local dining experiences and spacious wellness facilities.
Six Senses La Sagesse has officially opened in Grenada, marking the brand’s debut in the Caribbean.
Situated on the south coast of the “Spice Island”, the luxury lifestyle hotel offers 56 suites, each with its own outdoor terrace and private plunge pool. There will also be 15 villas, nestled in either a hillside or beachfront setting, and five larger four-bedroom retreats on a secluded “bluff” with 270-degree views of the surrounding area.
Guests have the option to dine at the brand’s signature SeaFire restaurant, featuring a Raw Bar and a woodfire grill, or the all-day Callaloo, where comfort foods with a “farm-to-table” ethos can be enjoyed in a high-ceiling, airy environment. The resort prides itself on using locally sourced, “hand-picked” ingredients as part of its commitment to sustainable living and supporting community-driven projects.
There’s also the poolside Panquai Breeze Bar, which serves the popular Latin American beef dish, Churrasco, and Scoop cafe, where guests can cool down with an iced coffee or a frozen treat.
A children’s play lounge and a teen lounge, offering activities such as art, crafts and sports, are also available on-site for younger guests. For adults, the two-floor Six Senses Spa overlooks the lagoon and offers a wide range of amenities. Guests can expect 1,940 square feet of fitness facilities, including a studio for spin and yoga classes, along with a separate entrance for 24-hour access. There’s also a hammam, panoramic sauna, hot pool, cold plunge pool and Kneipp therapy pool.
There will also be ample opportunities to explore the sights of Grenada through the hotel’s dedicated Experience Center, where itineraries can be personalised for guests to experience the island. Popular nearby attractions include Grand Etang National Park and the River Antoine Estate, as well as the colourful shops and hilly streets of capital Saint George.
Rates at Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada, part of IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio, start from $1,000 (£788) per night for two on a B&B basis.
