Independent hotel group Bespoke Hotels will launch the five-star Sun Street Hotel in London this October.
The boutique hotel is a five-minute walk from Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations and forms part of the One Crown Place development.
It offers 41 rooms, including seven suites, which are decorated in modern or Georgian styles, designed by interior design firm Bowler James Brindley. All rooms offer king-size beds, illy coffee machines, air conditioning, twice-daily maid service and Penhaligon’s toiletries.
The 40-cover restaurant is overseen by chef Stuart Cauldwell, who previously worked at Borough Market’s Roast Restaurant, and the property also offers an outside courtyard, sun deck and orangery.
General manager Jake Greenall said: “Sun Street is a hotel with a heartbeat, a place where guests are treated like part of the family, not just a room number. It’s a home away from home for our guests, but with the added benefits that a luxury five-star hotel can bring".
