London’s The Berkeley is to offer diners the chance to enjoy a festive dining experience in one of five wooden cabins this winter.
The Berkeley Winter Cabins follow on from the Knightsbridge’s hotel’s successful beach huts concept this summer, with each winter cabin able to seat up to eight guests.
The five cabins will be lit by candles and lanterns as well as being decked with wreaths and surrounded by fir trees and fairy lights to get diners in the festive mood. Blankets and heaters will also be available.
Other alpine touches will include a menu of specialties built around fondue and a raclette grill allowing diners to grill their own Wagyu beef or finish off their lobster.
While the drinks list will showcase a wide range of craft beer, wines, champagnes and hot cider. Cocktails and mocktails will also available.
The Winter Cabins will be open from 4 December and will be open from noon with the last sitting at 9.15pm from Wednesday to Saturday, and from noon to 5pm on Sunday. The cabins will have a minimum spend of £500 per sitting.
