Cyplon Holidays’ Stephanie Robins has been recruited to lead a new luxury travel franchise business set to launch next month.
Travelosophers will initially seek experienced travel professionals who have been forced to leave the industry due to the Covid pandemic.
The company’s name comes from its belief planning a trip requires a “deeper understanding” of a client’s desires and reasoning to travel and agents will have the skills and knowledge to help customers discover their “travel philosophy”.
Robins will spearhead the new business and operate in a dual role, remaining as Cyplon’s head of national sales.
She has recruited former First Class Holidays head of sales for the north, Nisha Bean, as business development manager.
Robins said Travelosophers would be “boutique in nature” when it came to its recruitment and future growth strategy, aiming for "quality rather than quantity".
“The pandemic has been an incredibly tough period for so many good travel people and agencies. I am so passionate about the trade and so when an opportunity arose to help support some talented travel professionals who have lost their jobs it was just too good to refuse,” she said.
“I’m excited that I will be able to play a small part in rebuilding this magnificent industry.”
In addition to no joining fees, Travelosophers, which is a member of the Advantage Travel Partnership, will also offer “low monthly costs”, commissions of up to 75%, an integrated CRM system and cover administration fees.
Members will be able to choose customisable support options with “an array” of head office services available.
Bean said: “I’m delighted to be joining such a forward-thinking and innovative company and can’t wait to get started in my new role.
"It’s been tough to keep this news under wraps for the past few months but I’m incredibly excited to start showcasing our outstanding and unique offering to any interested travel professionals.”
Robins added: “Both Nisha and I are bursting with excitement to get started in building a close-knit family of outstanding travel professionals, who can provide clients with unrivalled knowledge and exceptional service. If you think we can help, please do get in touch.”
