TTG Luxury is planning a series of events to connect and inspire the luxury travel sector, including the TTG Luxury Travel Summit and the first live Luxpo event held since the pandemic began.
The full-day TTG Luxury Travel Summit, held in association with Celebrity Cruises, will return to The Biltmore Mayfair, London on 7 October and will aim to guide and inspire luxury travel businesses as they continue to bounce back following the pandemic.
New for this year will be a post-event drinks reception held at the central London hotel, giving delegates an additional chance to network and relax.
October will also see a return to a live format for Luxpo, which was pivoted to become a virtual event in 2020 and has continued to offer premium agents and luxury travel brands an innovative platform on which to have one-to-one meetings, from wherever they are in the world.
That two-day online event will take place on 20 and 21 September, with 10 partners meeting with 20 agents over the course of two mornings.
Luxpo will also now return as a live event on 31 October at the new Pan Pacific London. Along with headline partner Explora Journeys, there will be 13 Luxpo partners, all preparing to meet with 14 hand-picked luxury agents for one-to-one in-person meetings at the hotel.
“We can’t wait to help the sector get back to doing what it does best – forging relationships that help create the best possible travel experiences for their customers,” said April Hutchinson, editor of TTG Luxury.
“Our unique Luxpo events were always so popular in the luxury community around the UK, and we have a fantastic collection of travel brands eager to meet agents at this in-person event. We can’t wait to showcase the stunning Pan Pacific London to a wider audience too.”
The day will also see the return of the Ultratravel Forum in the afternoon on 31 October and The ULTRAs in the evening.
This prestigious consumer luxury awards programme will see winners announced at a party at Pan Pacific London, with winners determined from a survey of Ultratravel’s database, including 1.2 million active and qualified affluent travellers who spend in excess of $500 million a year on luxury hotels.
“Ultratravel is again delighted to be partnering with TTG Luxury on an exciting day for the luxury travel sector, starting with Luxpo,” said Ultratravel chairman Nick Perry. “Following that, the Ultratravel Forum and The ULTRAs awards events will be attended by the highest level of management in the industry – plus other high-profile guests – and the evening will be a celebration of the best in luxury travel globally, the sector of the industry which has bounced back so well after the pandemic.”
Tickets for the TTG Luxury Travel Summit cost £199 if purchased at the early-bird rate before 29 July, after which time they are £249.
Luxpo events are free for agents to attend, and attendees of the 31 October event – agents as well as sponsor partners – will benefit from a complimentary ticket to attend the Ultratravel Forum in the afternoon.
Combined tickets for events and discounts on attending more than one event will also be available.
