The TTG Luxury Travel Awards 2024 are to be held at the most prestigious new hotel to open in London for several years, Raffles London at The OWO.
The event will be held on Friday 1 March 2024, maintaining its popular afternoon format, with networking drinks in The Lawrence followed by lunch and the awards ceremony in the hotel’s magnificent Whitehall Ballroom.
“I am utterly delighted that we will be able to host our awards at this beautiful and historic hotel,” said April Hutchinson, editor and publisher of TTG Luxury. “Since we launched the awards in 2018, they have gone from strength to strength and holding them in such a prestigious venue is going to be a tough one to top. Watch this space for more details on the awards – and of course, the hotel – in the coming months.”
The event will see 350 guests from across the luxury travel sector gather in the ballroom of the hotel, which has been created within the walls of the original Old War Office, built in 1906 and former site of the original Palace of Whitehall.
This location even inspired Ian Fleming to write the James Bond series after working for Britain’s Naval Intelligence Service there, and the hotel will feature The Spy Bar, a late-night subterranean speakeasy in rooms once used by MI5.
The OWO will be home to nine new restaurants and a further three bars, making this a vibrant dining and lifestyle hub and the talk of the town when it opens later this summer.
Raffles London at The OWO will also introduce two firsts for the capital – a Guerlain Spa and active wellness spaces by Pillar Wellbeing within its four-level spa.
The hotel will be topped with 81 unique rooms and 39 suites designed by celebrated designer Thierry Despont and set over five expansive floors.
The entry process for the awards will be commence in August. If you would like to attend the event, enter for the awards or participate as a sponsoring partner, you can now register your interest.
