Luxury train operator Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is to host a second Travel with Pride journey celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
The two-day trip, which departs from Paris to Venice on 2 November 2023, will embrace “self-expression” with a line-up including US TV producer and actor Gary Janetti and Canadian fashion stylist Brad Goresk.
The train operator Belmond said the Travel with Pride journey was part of a policy of ensuring all of its brands offer a “safe, welcoming and inclusive environment” for LGBTQ+ guests. Belmond is also supporting UK-based LGBTQ+ charity Not A Phase for a second consecutive year.
Pascal Deyrolle, general manager at Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, said: “As a sign of Belmond’s continued commitment to providing an inclusive environment for all guests and members of staff, where individuality is celebrated, we are delighted to welcome back this special Travel with Pride journey after its huge inaugural success last year, as well as proud to continue our support of Not A Phase.”
The journey includes a four-course dinner created by Michelin-starred chef Jean Imbert followed by DJ sets by Purple Disco Machine and Honey Dijon. Special Travel with Pride cocktails will be served to guests throughout the trip.
The trip is priced from £3,785pp including ground transfers in Paris and Venice, all meals and 24-hour steward service.
Forming part of TTG Luxury's Day of Luxury, the new-look TTG Luxury Travel Summit will return on the afternoon of Friday 3 November at the stunning Kimpton Fitzroy, London.
