Access to the new yacht from one of the world’s best-known luxury hotel brands is to be by invitation only.
Four Seasons – whose fledgling yacht will debut in 2025 – said the move was “driven by the need to manage extraordinary demand with scarcity of inaugural inventory”.
Priority access to reserve voyages is therefore set to be distributed by invitation-only, beginning with “loyal Four Seasons guests and valued travel partners”.
Four Seasons said this approach “acknowledges and cares” for its patrons and the brand’s “qualified luxury travel advisors in a manner that is deserving of their loyalty and commitment to the brand”.
A dedicated private client service division has been created with a team of personal yacht consultants, who will be “committed to delivering on the personalized service and genuine heart that Four Seasons is known for”.
This elite team of planners will manage the by-appointment demand, starting with priority access options for the inaugural season, while “for those luxury travel enthusiasts who are interested in Four Seasons Yachts”, a waitlist will also be available online.
In its first year, the yacht is scheduled to visit 137 destinations in 33 countries, including 76 late-night evenings and/or overnights, while pre-and-post hotel and overland programmes can be plugged into Four Seasons’ properties around the world, and are “in development”.
The 2025/26 inaugural season will see it head off for winter and spring in the Caribbean, followed by the Mediterranean with the average journey being seven days, allowing for back-to-back voyages of 21 days.
The state-of-the-art yacht will spare no expense in luxury and innovation to roll out what is sure to be one of the most desirable experiences at sea, from rentable custom-crafted ‘sea limousines’ for transfers and ‘coastal grand touring’, to a 20-metre main pool – one of the largest at sea – which can be converted to a dance floor.
The salt-water pool is designed so that it can be quickly emptied, the floor raised using a hydraulic lift, and then converted into a multi-function area for the likes of performances, fashion shows, and weddings.
Being built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, Four Seasons said the yacht will “set a new standard for privacy and guest-centric layout” and will feature 95 suites with extensive terraces. These will range from 100 square feet for the deluxe suite, to nearly 5,000 square feet for the Funnel Suite, which will be the yacht’s biggest accommodation offering on board, spanning four levels.
It will come with a private pool and private spa area, while its floor-to-ceiling wraparound curved windows will be made up of the largest contiguous piece of glass at sea, whith all glass in the suite costing a total of $4.5 million.
A contract has also been signed for the construction of another €400-million Four Seasons vessel with Fincantieri, which is due to be delivered in late November 2026.
“Four Seasons Yachts represents a key pillar of our future growth and strategic vision, as we look to capitalise on new opportunities and build brand differentiation through immersive luxury experiences,” said Alejandro Reynal, president and CEO of Four Seasons.
“The inaugural yacht is a manifestation of this vision, offering a world-class Four Seasons experience, at sea and on land, marked by the genuine, personalized service that our guests know and love.”
Four Seasons is working on the project with luxury yachting company Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, led by veteran luxury travel expert Larry Pimentel as its president and CEO.
