Accor’s head of wellbeing and the regional boss of Celebrity Cruises are set to take to the stage at the TTG Luxury Travel Summit.
Jo Rzymowska, vice president and managing director, EMEA, Celebrity Cruises will join the conference line-up, as will Emlyn Brown, global vice-president, wellbeing, Accor.
Far from sitting back and just waiting for cruising to restart during the pandemic, Celebrity Cruises has been continually evolving its proposition not just as a cruise line, but as a brand that resonates with luxury consumers. In conversation with April Hutchinson, editor of TTG Luxury, Rzymowska will talk about the journey the cruise line has been on, and what the future holds for cruise as the sector rebuilds in a more sustainable way.
Meanwhile, with his 20 years of international experience in the field and wide grasp of wellbeing and how it translates into the group’s broad portfolio, Brown will assess how the landscape has changed as a result of the pandemic, accelerating the desire of consumers to look after themselves like never before and what this means for hotels and the wider travel industry.
The TTG Luxury Travel Summit, has the theme “What next for luxury travel?” and will be held at at The Biltmore, Mayfair, a new hotel in the heart of London.
TTG Luxury has been running a conference for the sector for almost 14 years, and this year’s event takes place on 18 October, in partnership with Celebrity Cruises.
The conference will feature a mix of trend-spotting intelligence, insightful panels and inspirational speakers, with other confirmed presenters and panellists including:
“After a prolonged time apart from so many peers, friends and valued business contacts in the luxury travel community, the summit gives us the chance to bring everyone back together again, to rebuild confidence and be absorbed by a programme that will provide inspiration, insight and ideas that can help luxury travel businesses retain their place in the life of the luxury traveller,” said TTG Luxury editor April Hutchinson.
“We often hear the luxury sector recovers first after a crisis, and while we know there is still a long way to go, I feel the green shoots are poking through. We will have sessions covering luxury travel from all angles – from the views of luxury tour operators and advisors, to Jenny Southan’s brilliant trend forecasting; from the world of art to sustainability; and now with our new speakers – cruise and wellbeing. In my years in travel, there’s never felt like a more important event for the luxury sector to come together again.”
Delegates will be welcomed for coffee first thing, with the full day of content starting from 9.30am, and plenty of other networking opportunities over further breaks and lunch.
Tickets cost £199. A 10% discount is also available for TTG+ members to attend.
