A-Rosa River Cruises has put its 2023 programme on sale and announced plans to "revolutionise" its all-inclusive product offering.
Itineraries on sale include one-way Rhine cruises from Amsterdam to Basel or vice versa, a new middle Rhine Valley itinerary and a longer Danube Cataracts cruise – extending from 12 to 14 nights to include longer stays in Vienna and Bratislava.
The operator also plans to "reimagine" its all-inclusive product offering over the next two years. Full details of the enhancements will be announced in spring 2022.
It will offer guests more flexibility when dining, with the option to serve themselves at buffets or alternatively sample table service, guest chefs and an included evening dinner away from the ship.
Destination immersion will also reportedly be a "key element", with guests having the chance to meet local winemakers, chefs and artists.
A new A-Rosa app will also be launched to allow guests’ to customise their journeys and manage other offerings such as daily menus and excursion bookings.
The product enhancements will initially be rolled out on French rivers and on A-Rosa Sena on the Rhine in 2022, before they are introduced fleet-wide in 2023.
From 2022, A-Rosa’a entire fleet will become international, meaning that all 13 ships, including A-Rosa Sena which launches in May 2022, will welcome UK guests. The UK office is also recruiting for two new regional sales managers.
Lucia Rowe, managing director at A-Rosa UK and Ireland, said the line will use its "20 years of expertise" to take its product to the "next level".
"Having a fully international fleet opens up more dates and availability for agents and our operator partners here in the UK to sell," she added.
"We remain 100% committed to the trade and in order to maximise on opportunities and drive greater awareness, we are busy recruiting two regional sales managers who will be out on the road meeting with agents."
