Advantage honours members at fourth Big Celebration Lunch

More than 20 awards were presented by host David Meade during the event this afternoon at the Hilton London Bankside.

The consortium has also partnered with Parkinson’s UK for the next year to help fund research and support for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.

The Outstanding Achievement Award went to Adam White at Baxter Hoare Travel, while Advantage’s new Giving Back Award was claimed by Baldwins Travel Group.

Most Engaged Leisure Travel Agent of the Year was claimed by Carrick Travel while Agent of the Year was won by Oasis Travel.

Olivia Newby at Linlithgow Travel scooped the Next Gen Talent Award, with Leisure Account Manager of the Year going to Phil Shipman at Travelsphere & Just You.

Fred Olsen Travel was awarded Leisure Travel Agent of the Year (small), with Leisure Travel Agent of the Year (large) going to TravelTime World. Angela Visciano at TravelTime World also bagged Employee of the Year – Leisure.

In the business travel categories, Business Travel Agent of the Year (less than £30m sales annually) went to Beyond Business Travel, while Reed & Mackay took home Business Travel Agent of the Year (more than £30m sales annually).

Most Engaged Business Travel Agent of the Year was won by Clyde Travel Management, with Business Travel Airline Partner of the Year going to Virgin Atlantic. Travelport was named Business Travel Technology Partner of the Year.

Avis Budget UK scooped two awards with Business Travel Ground Transport, Ancillary & Special Services Partner of the Year and Business Travel Account Manager of the Year taken home by Paul Clark.

In the supplier categories, Jet2holidays bagged Leisure Sales Team of the Year and Leisure Partner of the Year went to Classic Collection.

Celebrity Cruises won Agent Friendly Leisure Partner of the Year, while Hilton was named Business Hotel Partner of the Year.
