An agency turning over £30 million a year has switched consortium after more than a decade, moving over to its main rival.
The Inspire Group, which has been a member of The Travel Network Group since 2012, has joined The Advantage Travel Partnership.
Cheshire-based Inspire, which has 55 employees across its retail and homeworking operation, confirmed the switch on Thursday (28 September).
Lisa Henning, Inspire Group managing director, said the decision followed a review of the business’s consortium partnership.
"Over the past few months, we have been reviewing Advantage’s membership offering and have concluded it is a perfect fit with our model," said Henning.
"We have an ambitious development agenda over the coming years and feel that our growth strategy will be best supported by the team at Advantage."
Henning added: "We were particularly attracted by the strength of their commercial offering, the extensive marketing they offer members and their strong ‘can-do’ and responsive attitude.
"Culturally and strategically, they are a great fit with our business."
Henning was appointed Inspire managing director in March 2021, taking up her role a month later in April. She was previously chief operating officer at TTNG.
Kelly Cookes, Advantage chief commercial officer, added: "Inspire is a really well managed and successful travel business and we feel honoured that they have chosen us as their consortia partner for the next stage of their development."
