Air Malta is set to resume daily flights from the archipelago to Gatwick next summer.
It will also resume services to Madrid and Moscow Sheremetyevo airports.
The new routes, which also includes 15 flights a week to Heathrow, will start from 27 March next year.
Air Malta’s executive chairman, David G Curmi, said the airline is working on an "ambitious" flight schedule.
"Our plans are to effectively double our capacity which we will operate during this forthcoming winter period," he added.
"It is a strong commitment by Air Malta towards the travelling public and the industry. Our focus will remain on our core European markets."
