Ambassador reveals environmental refurbishment plans for second vessel
Will PayneAmbassador’s upcoming second ship Ambition will dry dock in Germany to undergo refurbishment work ahead of its launch in May.
The vessel will leave Glasgow as planned on 1 April and head to Lloyd Werft Shipyard in Bremerhaven for environmental upgrades which will put it in the top 10-15% of environmentally sustainable ships worldwide.
The ship will also get its new livery and Ambassador branding, as well as undergo venue improvements and furnishing upgrades.
Shirley Robertson OBE will christen Ambition in her role as godmother at an official ceremony in Newcastle on 11 May ahead of Ambition’s inaugural 14-night Hidden Gems of France and Spain sailing departing from the Port of Tyne on 12 May.
