Antigua and Barbuda has relaxed its entry requirements by allowing fully vaccinated travellers to take a rapid antigen test instead of a PCR.
Under updated protocols from 18 November, fully vaccinated passengers must present a negative PCR result carried out up to four days before arrival or an approved negative rapid antigen results three days before entry.
Partially vaccinated arriving passengers only must have a negative PCR tests within four days of their flight.
Unvaccinated minors (aged between five and 18) must present a negative PCR test up to four days from the date of testing and children under five do not require a PCR test.
All arriving passengers, including returning nationals and residents, are required to have received at least one dose of vaccine approved by the World Health Organization or Antigua and Barbuda Ministry of Health.
Children under 18 are exempted.
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority said more than 60,000 people amongst an eligible 80,000 of its population had been vaccinated.
