Attraction World’s outgoing head of commercial partnerships says his successor will have a “brilliant opportunity” to help shape the future of the business and its relationship with the trade.
Justin Mahoney will leave the business after three “amazing” years on April 12 to head up children’s holiday camp operator Barracudas.
A search for his successor, led by Attraction World chief executive Paul Stobbs, is under way.
“I’ve had an amazing three years at Attraction World with a fantastic team of people,” Mahoney told TTG.
“The business continues to evolve at pace as agents and customers adapt their purchasing habits, and my successor at Attraction World has a brilliant opportunity to help shape this at this exciting time.
“It’s a bittersweet moment for me; I’m sad to be leaving Attraction World and the travel industry, but incredibly excited about the new opportunity ahead.”
Mahoney departs the industry after 26 years, 23 of which he spent at Thomas Cook across a variety of in-destination, finance, operational and commercial roles.
