Balkan Holidays appoints new regional sales manager

Former Tui agent Szczambura, who has more than a decade’s experience working in Bulgaria, will take on responsibility for operator’s agent partnerships in northern England, the Midlands, East Anglia and Wales.

Szczambura has completed seven ski seasons with Balkan, and one summer season.

Head of trade sales Chris Rand said: “Wayne will be a valuable new member of our team, particularly thanks to his extensive knowledge of Bulgaria.”

His role will involve visiting agents, keeping them updated with news, offers and incentives, and carrying out training.

He will work alongside Lynsey Jones, Balkan regional sales manager for the north east, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
