Tui commercial director Richard Sofer departs after seven years

Sofer joined Tui in September 2016 and was promoted to his current role in October 2017.

In a statement to TTG, Tui thanked Sofer for his “unwavering commitment” during his tenure, describing him as “a crucial leader” in driving the company’s recovery from the Covid pandemic.

“Richard oversaw the introduction of four new ocean cruise ships for Marella Cruises, led the introduction of numerous new initiatives, including Tui River Cruise and tours and accommodation-only… we’d like to wish Richard all the best for his personal and professional future,” a Tui spokesperson said.
