Brilliant Travel has unveiled ambitious plans to almost double the size of its business by the end of the year following “unprecedented” growth in 2017.
Over the past four years, Brilliant, the Managed Service Travel Partner (MSTP) and homeworking division of Barrhead Travel, says it had doubled MSTP members and homeworkers by the end of 2017.
It comes following the appointment of director Linda Pyle in April 2014, who has guided an overhaul of Brilliant’s recruitment strategy.
Business development managers Rebecca Price and Daniel Steabler followed in 2015 and 2017 respectively to further grow Brilliant’s support team.
And as part of its 2018 growth strategy, it will be seeking to recruit a dedicated trainer to coordinate development for all homeworkers and MSTPs.
Pyle said Brilliant was looking for new recruits with the “experience and passion” to thrive in travel: “We are looking for more good people who are ambitious and, at the heart of it all, love helping people fulfil their dream holiday.
“We are committed to an active expansion of our network. Our figures are the proof of what can be achieved when passionate and knowledgeable people work together in pursuit of success.
“Now more than ever, the usual 9am to 6pm, plus commute, doesn’t fit or fulfil people and many are looking for flexible career options.
“Taking your first steps to running your own business needn’t be daunting, we will be there for you every step of the way whether you’re looking to set up your own independent agency or build your brand as a homeworker.”
