Work has begun on a new 1,000 space car park at Bristol airport set to open in May next year.
The £9.5 million development will feature technology to better show unoccupied spaces and improved internal road design, landscaping and signage all geared to assist passengers when parking cars on site.
It comes following a number of recent improvements at the airport, including a £2.5 million customer reception centre in the Silver Zone car park and a £2.3 million upgrade to the immigration hall in the terminal.
Bristol airport development director Andrew Goodenough said: “These developments demonstrate our continued commitment to enhance passenger facilities at Bristol Airport.
“The multi-storey car park will meet the demand for high quality, secure car parking close to the terminal.”
