British Airways is to offer flights to Agadir for the first time in more than a decade next year.
The Moroccan beach destination has become the latest to join BA’s route network from Gatwick. Four weekly flights will be operated by BA’s Gatwick short-haul subsidiary BA Euroflyer from 31 March 2024. Return fares start from £138.
Tom Stoddart, BA Euroflyer chief executive, said: “Agadir is a coastal destination that enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year, so we know it will see strong demand from our leisure customers and particularly those seeking holiday packages.
“It offers beaches, golf courses and watersports alongside the opportunity to experience cultural landmarks, such as Agadir Kasbah.”
BA will offer a Club Europe business cabin on Gatwick flights including lounge access, a full meal service with drinks, priority boarding and additional baggage allowance. Economy fares include a complimentary drink and snack.
