British Airways has reached a deal with staff to relaunch short-haul flights from Gatwick next summer.
Union Unite, which represents non-flight deck employees, has now confirmed an agreement has been reached with cabin and ground crew after talks.
A Unite spokesperson told TTG: "An agreement has been reached but we are not commenting any further than that at the current time."
The deal means BA is likely to swiftly release its summer schedule from Gatwick.
BA’s pilots backed proposals for a lower cost operation for European flights from Gatwick last month.
BA bosses believe a lower cost structure is the only way for the carrier to compete effectively with easyJet on leisure routes from London’s second airport.
The airline had threatened to make its short-haul switch to Heathrow during the pandemic a permanent move if a deal was not struck.
