Celestyal Cruises has pledged to work even more closely with the trade after revealing the details for its newest ship, Celestyal Journey.
Taking over Celestyal Crystal’s programme, the new vessel will depart on its inaugural trip on 2 September – a seven-night journey to Greece, with calls in Athens, Santorini and Mykonos.
In October, Journey will embark on a "Three Continent" itinerary, visiting Egypt, Israel and Cyprus, before setting sail on an 11-night Special Christmas voyage.
“We are looking forward to working closely with our trade partners to highlight our much-elevated onboard product alongside our renowned brand proposition of destination-rich, immersive travel experiences,” said chief commercial officer Lee Haslett.
Haslett added agents and operator partners would have the opportunity to experience Celestyal Journey first-hand through in-person ship visits and fam trips, as well as training.
Journey boasts 148 balcony suites, seven dining venues, eight bars, two swimming pools and an entire deck dedicated to wellness. The ship also features many open deck areas, designed to create a greater sense of space and light.
Guests will benefit from a wider range of experiences, from moonlight dining in one of the ship’s main restaurants to new pampering options at the new Sozo Spa.
