Classic Collection is preparing to expand into the Irish market, offering departures from five Irish airports in partnership with a handful of airline partners.
The operator’s expansion into Ireland will initially be limited to select partners in the Republish before a wider launch to the Irish travel trade in the coming months.
Holidays will be bookable, in Euros, from Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Knock and Shannon airports. Airline partners include Ryanair, with whom the operator and its parent On the Beach Group, has forged a strong partnership, along with Aer Lingus, Pegasus Airline and SunExpress, the latter two likely to offer strong connectivity with Turkey.
Classic’s B2B director Si Morris-Green said: "Our launch in Ireland means we are able to provide more choice and great value to trade partners who want to book their customers from their local airports in the Irish Republic, as well as the protection they need to book with confidence."
Morris-Green continued: "In the initial phase of our launch, we’ll be working with a limited number of partners in Ireland. Planned system upgrades, which are due to be completed in the next few months, will see us open sales to the wider travel trade community in the Republic."
He added: "This is a hugely exciting development, which we’ve been working towards for the past 12 months. It’s a milestone in the new era of Classic Collection, and we look forward to bringing the tools, technology and marketing support to help drive business and volume through our new trade partners in Ireland."
