Club Med has added two new French resorts, Tignes and Val D’Isere, to its winter 2022/23 season.
The resorts, which are set to open in December 2022, are now on sale.
It comes as part of the operator’s "aggressive" worldwide expansion plan, with resorts such as La Rosiere and Seychelles having both opened in 2021.
Over the course of the next five years, Club Med is planning more expansions worldwide, including that of Exclusive Collection Suites-Apartments in La Rosiere, an Exclusive Collection ski resort in Utah, and a new resort in Benin.
The new 4T Club Med Tignes is located at 2,100m altitude and offers ski-in/ski-out facilities, 405 rooms and an Exclusive Collection space with 25 suites.
The resort will offer a variety of dining options, including main restaurant Le Val Claret, gourmet lounge Solstice, plus a bar lounge and outdoor terrace.
It will also feature a spa relaxation room, a salt wall with restorative properties, and Club Med’s largest indoor swimming pool in any of its alpine resorts.
Also new to Club Med’s French portfolio is its first 5T Exclusive Collection resort in the mountains, Val d’Isere.
Following a €47.5m renovation and expansion, the resort will include 91 new deluxe rooms with balconies, 95 rooms and 30 suites.
It will also feature a wellness and fitness centre, 17m indoor swimming pool, spa with 10 treatment rooms and gym training rooms, as well as ski-in/ski-out facilities, private and group ESF lessons, ski touring, paragliding and ice skating.
Estelle Giraudeau, managing director of Club Med UK and Northern Europe, said the company was "delighted" to open the new resorts despite the "unprecedented times the travel industry has had to navigate over the course of the last two years".
"Following the surge in demand following the reopening of the French borders for Brits, we’re predicting next season to be one of the busiest on record," she added.
"With our sale taking place for three days, we are encouraging Brits to take advantage of our offers and start booking their winter sports holidays for the 22/23 season."
