Brisbane couple Jessica and Marty Ansen embarked on two years of back-to-back cruising on Thursday (16 June) as Princess Cruises’ Coral Princess began its first season following the restart of the Australian cruise industry.
The pair have previously sailed on 31 cruises with Princess with 1,173 days at sea and intend to add more voyages to their impressive haul in the future.
"Cruising offers the ultimate holiday experience," they said. "You go onboard, you only unpack once, and you have all this amazing entertainment, exceptional food, great company and you can see the world. And, the crew deliver incredible service – that’s why we cruise."
The Ansens booked their two years of back-to-back cruises (795 sea days) – including two round-world cruises in 2023 and 2024 – with Brisbane-based family-owned travel agency Clean Cruising, which has specialised in cruise holidays since 2007.
Coral Princess’s winter programme includes six short getaway cruises from Brisbane and Sydney, five seven-day Queensland round-trip cruises from Brisbane, sailing to Cairns, Port Douglas, and Airlie Beach and a new seven-day New South Wales Coast round trip from Brisbane.
The vessel will also offer a new 12-day Queensland and New South Wales voyage, sailing round-trip from Brisbane and a new 12-day Queensland and the Conflict Islands itinerary.
Princess Cruises’ senior vice-president Asia Pacific, UK and Europe, Stuart Allison, said he was "delighted" to welcome the Ansens onboard Coral Princess to cruise again.
