Cruisingexcursions.com has expanded its UK portfolio after a number of cruise lines announced plans to offer domestic itineraries in 2022 and 2023.
The company has introduced new tours including two excursions in Liverpool: Discover the Heritage and History of Liverpool, a two-hour walking tour priced at £19pp; and The Beatles Walking Tour and Liverpool City, also priced at £19pp.
For Belfast, the company is offering an eight-hour Essential Collection coach tour to Giant’s Causeway, with time in Ballycastle for £55pp.
A six-hour private tour from Invergordon in the Scottish Highlands to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is priced at £419pp.
Cruising Excursions’ chief operating officer Simonne Fairbanks said the domestic "seacation" season has been "very successful and looks set to continue for the foreseeable future".
"For the first half of this year there were restrictions on excursions due to Covid regulations but now these are lifted we have ramped up our UK excursions to meet demand," she added.
"Just because a cruise is in the UK it doesn’t mean agents can’t sell excursions – there is some serious commission to be made, especially on multi-port packages and some of the private tours."
