Anguilla’s CuisinArt resorts has appointed Classic Hideaways its new European representative.
David Pollard, managing director, will lead the UK team promoting CuisinArt’s two island resorts as Anguilla continues to recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
Its golf resort and spa will reopen on November 1 following a multi-million dollar refurbishment. The Reef, meanwhile, reopened in April.
Classic Hideaways specialises in representation of privately-owned luxury properties, with Pollard responsible for retail travel, tour operator and airline relationships.
“Anguilla shines as a gem among the most idyllic of the world’s islands with its extraordinary white powder sand beaches and exquisite resorts, offering a truly Caribbean paradise for discerning UK travellers,” said Pollard.
“The Resorts of CuisinArt offer unrivalled levels of chic comfort, contemporary style and memorable service.”
The move has been welcomed by the Anguilla Tourist Board. Carolyn Brown, the board’s UK and Scandinavia director, said: “We welcome David to the Anguilla family here in the UK as we continue to make a remarkable recovery just 10 months on from Hurricane Irma.
“His expertise and enthusiasm will be much appreciated as we continue to grow the UK market and showcase the allure of Anguilla.”
