Cunard has delayed the planned return to service of Queen Victoria until 5 June, leading to the cancellation of some planned itineraries from Southampton.
The line said that the ship, which had been due to return to service in April, would have to cancel five sailings due to depart between 22 April 2022 and 24 May 2022.
“Ahead of her return to sailing, Queen Victoria is currently located in Barbados. The ship will be staying in the Caribbean for longer than planned before her dry dock and will now return to full service on 5 June 2022 with her existing itineraries from this date,” said the line in an update.
“If you have a booking that is impacted by these changes, we are sorry for the disappointment this news may cause.”
Cunard said it had contacted passengers affected by Queen Victoria’s delay in returning to service
Both of the line’s other ships, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary 2, will continue with their published schedules.
