Delta Air Lines will go head-to-head with Aer Lingus on Dublin’s Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) route next year.
Aer Lingus last week confirmed it would relaunch its Dublin-MSP route on 29 April next year on a four-times-weekly basis. This will increase to a daily year-round service from October, whereby Aer Lingus will deploy a single-aisle Airbus A321XLR on the route.
Delta’s five-times-weekly seasonal service, meanwhile, will take off just over a week later on 9 May 2024. It will operate the route using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft offering its Delta One, Delta premium select, Delta comfort+ and main cabins.
Flights will depart Minneapolis at 9.20pm arriving Dublin at 10.50am (+1). Returns will depart Dublin at midday arriving Minneapolis at 2.25pm. It means Delta will serve Dublin year-round from New York JFK and seasonally from MSP, Atlanta and Boston.
