Wizz Air is to offer 13 routes from Doncaster Sheffield airport this winter after a decision to base a second aircraft there.
The budget airline revealed plans for a new base at the airport with a single aircraft three weeks ago, but said an “enthusiastic response” had already led it to expand.
New services to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Lisbon and Eindhoven start on 22 October 2020.
They are in addition to the already confirmed services to Alicante, Malaga, Faro, Larnaca, Lublin (Poland), Kosice (Slovakia) and Suceana (Romania).
One way fares to the Canaries will start from £26.99, with Lisbon leading in at £21.99 and Eindhoven at £17.99.
Wizz Air UK managing director Owain Jones said: “Customers old and new have given us a very clear message – they love the choice of new destinations to which they can travel with Wizz Air UK from our new base at Doncaster Sheffield.
“So less than three weeks after we announced the base, we’re delighted to celebrate the addition of a second Airbus A320 and six new routes.”
