EasyJet Holidays will resume operations next month, with a focus on escapes to Spain, Greece and Turkey.
The budget carrier’s in-house operator, relaunched last year, will whisk its first customers away from 1 August.
It comes after the government announced plans late last week to finally ease the Foreign Office’s worldwide no-travel advisory.
As of Saturday, the FCO declared 67 destinations safe for British travellers – including Spain, Greece and Turkey.
The government also announced inbound quarantine exemptions for 59 destinations, again including Spain, Greece and Turkey, meaning British holidaymakers can get away without fear of being quarantined upon their return.
The quarantine exemptions will come into effect from 10 July, just over a month after the UK implemented its quarantine on arrival policy.
Greece has extended its ban on UK flights until 15 July, but the country is expected to open up to British tourists over the coming weeks.
EasyJet Holidays has produced a new customer video setting out the key changes to the passenger journey, and has created a new Covid-19 hub on its website.
Matt Callaghan, easyJet Holidays customer director, said: “Like many people, we’ve been waiting for this moment. We only launched our business in November 2019 so as our first summer season, it was always going to be a milestone moment, but even more so now.
"We’ve put a lot of work in behind the scenes to ensure our customers can travel with confidence and have launched our three key commitments so customers know what to expect when booking and travelling with us.”
