EasyJet has launched five new winter routes from Birmingham airport citing ongoing growth in demand following the launch of its BHX base in March.
New additions include Morocco’s Marrakech and Hurghada on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, plus festive city break favourites Prague and Krakow, while Reykjavik opens up Iceland’s spectacular landscapes.
The five new routes grow easyJet’s network at BHX to 33 routes in total.
Twice-weekly Marrakech and Prague services will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the winter, while flights to Reykjavik will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Weekly Hurghada services will operate on Wednesdays, and easyJet will fly to Krakow from Birmingham up to seven days a week year-round.
Agents will be able to package these flights through easyJet holidays, with all packages including return flights, accommodation and 23kg luggage.
"It’s fantastic to launch another five new services from Birmingham airport, providing our customers across the Midlands with even more choice for a winter sun holiday or city break,” said UK country manager Ali Gayward.
Holidays lead in from £169pp for a three-night stay at a four-star Prague hotel on a room-only basis.
