Emerald Cruises has taken delivery of its first superyacht Emerald Azzurra from the Ha Long shipyard in Vietnam.
Azzurra, which will carry 100 guest and is the first of two new yachts being built by the brand, will now sail to Aqaba in Jordan ready to welcome passengers on its inaugural sailing on 11 March.
After its eight-day maiden voyage, Azzurra will transit the Suez Canal to embark on a series of sailings in the Mediterranean and along the Adriatic coast during this summer.
The vessel will feature 50 suites, with more than 88% including balconies, as well as an infinity pool, infrared sauna, gym and marina platform, offering Seabob water scooters, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment.
Azzurra will be joined by sister yacht Emerald Sakara in February 2023, with itineraries to the Seychelles, Black Sea and Middle East.
Guests who booking an Emerald Cruises yacht sailing before 18 February will receive a free premium drinks package.
