Emirates will resume its Newcastle service on Friday (15 October) with flight EK033 due to land at the airport in the north east at 7.10pm.
Flight EK034 will then depart for Dubai at 9.10pm, arriving 7.25am on Saturday (16 October).
The Newcastle resumption follows the airline’s restart of operations to Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow airports over recent months in response to a reported "surge in demand" for international travel.
The Newcastle service will operate four times weekly and will take Emirates’ total UK weekly flights to 77.
Richard Jewsbury, divisional vice-president at Emirates UK, said: "We’re extremely pleased to see flights returning to and from Newcastle, responding to an increase in bookings across the UK since international travel was made far simpler.
"In over 10 years of operations, millions of people from the north-east and beyond have enjoyed our unrivalled travel experience, and we look forward to welcoming more passengers back onboard soon."
The carrier currently offers a six-times-daily Heathrow service, twice-daily flights to Manchester, a 10-times-weekly service to Birmingham, a daily service to Glasgow, and a four-times-weekly service to Newcastle.
By December, Emirates’ total UK weekly flights will increase to 84, as daily services return to Gatwick.
