The popular awards event will once again be held at Raffles London at The OWO and returns with a number of new enhancements for 2025.
The TTG Luxury Travel Awards, in association with Silversea, are back for 2025, with 20 categories to help recognise the finest, most innovative and hard-working travel companies and individuals in the sector.
New for this year is an additional supplier category, Luxury Expedition Cruise Line of the Year. The category joins the lineup as a reflection of the growth of the area, and is designed for cruise brands who focus on providing expedition experiences combined with luxury product onboard their ship.
There are nine supplier-focused categories in total, eight agent categories, and two special categories that either agencies or suppliers can enter – Luxury Travel Workplace of the Year and Sustainability Hero of the Year. Click here to see all the categories.
For the first time, companies will be able to submit their entries via a bespoke entry platform. The dynamic awards platform, Evessio, allows entrants to create a login to submit and then edit entries more seamlessly than ever before. Entry for the TTG Luxury Travel Awards remains free.
The long-term partnership with Silversea also continues for the awards into next year. Peter Shanks, the ultra-luxury line’s managing director UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, said: “Silversea are proud to be associated with showcasing the very best businesses and passionate experts in the thriving luxury sector – it’s our home and we are delighted to partner with TTG Luxury at the 2025 Awards.”
The awards are set to take place at one of the capital’s most impressive new hotels on 28 February, with the event returning in its popular Friday afternoon format at Raffles London at The OWO.
More than 350 guests are expected to attend, with welcome drinks in The Lawrence foyer, followed by a two-course lunch and the glittering awards ceremony in the historic hotel’s magnificent Whitehall Ballroom.
Attention-grabbing musical entertainment has become a hallmark of the awards, and 2025 will be no different, with the awards partnering with Cunard to bring some uplifting musical talent to the stage.
The day will be topped off by Contribution to Luxury Travel, a prestigious award decided by the TTG Media team to recognise an icon of the industry, with past recipients including Matthew Upchurch of Virtuoso and most recently in 2024, Edwina Lonsdale of Mundy Cruising.
New for 2025 is the Winners Lunch, whereby individual winning agents and representatives from agency categories crowned at the event will then be invited to attend a very special event in London in partnership with Grecotel.
Not only a worthy celebration of all their achievements, the Winners Lunch will help to foster deeper levels of professional connection and peer-to-peer community among the UK’s finest luxury agents.
Also new is an industry benchmark report, with all suppliers who enter receiving a complimentary copy. Using expert analysis, the TTG Luxury Travel Awards report will offer unprecedented benchmarking among all supplier entries and showcase impactful trends among the world’s leading luxury travel brands. “Now entering their seventh edition, our awards are the travel trade’s longest-running luxury-specific awards, and we continue to assess how we do things, with the move to a purpose-built platform making the entry process seamless,” said April Hutchinson, editor and publisher of TTG Luxury. “And following a magical and memorable event at Raffles London at The OWO in 2024, we are delighted to be returning to this stunning hotel for a second time, and look forward to seeing everyone there in February!”
